Step-by-step Guide
Preparation
- Once the coffee is made, pour it into a glass where we have an ice cube and sugar to taste. Stir to mix well.
- Pour the soda water slowly over the coffee, ensuring it froths. It's important to do this slowly to achieve the desired foam.
- Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cocoa powder on top. This will add an aromatic and decorative touch to the mix.
- Lightly whip the liquid cream. Then, add the orange peel. Pour the coffee into a large glass, ready to be served.
- In a wide glass, place honey and rum mixed with sugar and melted chocolate. Add an open vanilla pod. Finally, pour in the hot coffee and add milk and the ice cube.
- Cover the mixture and let it rest for 2 minutes. Then, slowly add the soda to encourage foaming.
- Remove the vanilla pod and transfer the coffee to another glass. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and serve with a straw and a small spoon.
- Pour in a bit more soda while the foam is still rising to increase its density.
- Finish with a teaspoon of semi-whipped cream on top of the coffee, forming a soft layer.
- Sprinkle a little cocoa powder on top for decoration.
- We serve the coffee with a straw, ensuring that everything is ready for the guests to enjoy both the flavor and the presentation.
Recommendations & Tricks
- If you want a more intense flavor, use freshly brewed espresso and let it cool before adding it to the mixture, this way it will better retain its aroma and taste.
- Add the ice cubes just before serving to prevent them from melting too quickly and diluting the flavor.
- Mix the ground cinnamon, cocoa powder, and vanilla sugar beforehand to ensure they are evenly distributed in the drink.
